Logitech Reinvents the mouse & Webcam

Logitech has introduced a new HD webcam and a new mouse type cube which also doubles up as a cube.

The webcam captures video in 1080P video and 720P video calling for using Skype and MSN Messenger. Using the new advanced technology and compressing, it can produce compressed images using 15MP and can upload images / videos at a quick pace using the Logitech Fluid Crystal Technology.

The Logitech cube / pointer is partly mouse and partly pointer and using the smart flow software it can also be using on updated tablets and smart phones.

“Once you lift the device, it automatically switches to presenter mode. Clicking the mouse will let you flip through slides, and going back simply involves turning the Cube over and clicking again.

The Cube is connected to your computer with Logitech’s Unifying receiver, which is small enough to keep plugged into your device at all times, and can be synced with up to six devices at the same time.”

New products have been shown at the last CES a new and stylish as well cheap computer. These computers are made from aluminustyle and ultra slim.

“While details are sparse, we do know that the company will unveil five new PC products next week at CES, including 24″ and 27″ All-in-One PCs, 14″ and 15.6″ Thin + Light Notebooks and a 15.6″ fullsized notebook.”

Nividia introduces Quad-Core Tegra 3 Processor

If you know what the Tegra 2 processor is then this might take your interest or think about upgrading. The tegra 2 is a dual core processor which can take mobile phones into smoother running apps n games and make your mobile phone run alot smoother. Though the dual core has only just been released into the phone market with the Apple Iphone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy.

There now testing and running mobile phones with twice the power and with new visuals coming out on phones, this means we can have better full pledged 3D games running at 60fps or equivalent power making games look alot more real.

“The way that the Tegra 3 processor handles this feat is with the help of a fifth “companion” core. When a device’s functions require low power, the primary four cores shut down and the work is handled by the companion core and, as a result, battery life is extended. When running tasks that require more power, all four cores are activated to keep the device running smoothly.” IGN

This new proccesser also brings a powerful punch to the improved Flash 11.1 (coming soon), accellerating it and more then likely capable to manage stereostopic 3D.

“Set to appear in tablets and high-end smartphones, Tegra powered devices also have access to the TegraZone, where you can find games build specifically for use with NVIDIA’s CPU. The TegraZone is expected to have 40 titles by the end of the year, including 15 games optimized for the Tegra 3.” IGN

Mobile Flash comes to an end?

Over the last couple of years with the more improvements been made to make smart phones more effecient and easier to make our life easier, Adobe have announced that they are discontinuing to make flash for mobile phones. If you’ve got a more recent phone then you’ll be okay because eventhough they ain’t designing the flash for phones anymore, you can still download it or if you have it already you can always still update it.

Currently: Flash Player 11.1 is coming out soon for mobile phones as an update. PC won’t be effected by this in anyway

New Android 4.0 Ice Cream Features

Earlier this year Google introduced a updated system up from “Ginger bread” called Ice cream which is going to be featured on the new and latest Android smart phones. Now that the new Nexus is coming out in November it’ll feature the Ice Cream system with all the new added features.

People which have an Android tablet would feel at home using this on there mobile, since it using the same type of system, but using a fresh new design and improved navigation system and then bring up apps in seconds.

What now brings to the Ice cream system is that you can now bring widgets to the system which can now be slid into places really quickly and easily. also what is a nice feature is that it recognises other android systems and makes it easier for someone to share theres apps, photos, music and videos alot easier.

All in all, the system has been upgraded greatly with all new features and and using the implements features from the tablets and making the system just run alot smoother and apps and onboard devices run alot quicker and smoother.
